Anyone else dislike them? For one thing I'm always having to look at a calendar to see what week (nearly 3 weeks out) I need to request days off for. I guess I could start putting them into esched as soon as I find out, but IDK about you guys, but I sometimes find out about stuff closer to its date (oh cool such and such band is playing 2 weeks from friday? Well it's too late, that schedule is already made and I probably close).
Next complaint is our store NEVER has the schedule posted on time. We've complained to the union rep many times and s/he doesn't do anything about it. Now with a 2 week schedule, you better bet there are never 2 new weeks worth. We have the current week and several previous weeks' ones. That's useful, especially when "updates to this schedule will be posted on the store copy which is the official copy"
Lastly, people look at the wrong schedule all the time. This was a problem in the past, but not quite as much of a hassle. Now IF the two schedules ever do get posted, it throws us off (since we're so used to just having 1 current "new" one). "well this is the newest one, it must be right" (not realizing that they've actually posted BOTH new schedules.
