Crap day Crew
Permalink

So, i go into work at about 11pm, i go to the back room and it looks like a ****hole. Recently one of our GM quit and the place has been going down hill since, i walk toward the bailer litterally smells like **** and bunch of boxes everywhere because daycrew is to lazy to do a bail or the leads are like my back hurts in ****.so 8hrs later none of us on night crew do a bail and we just leave it for the day crew. Our Store manager goes back there and starts flipping his ****. Im in the back trying to keep my laughter in im usually the one who do the bails but i didnt do this one because it stinked of **** and day crew just threw like 100+ boxes in front bailer so im like **** it. Store manager was throwing away tons of trash and boxes today. Apparently he had a talk with the day crew

Anyone else have a ****ty day crew that doesnt even bail boxes they just put boxes on side the baailer

My store doesn't even have a daytime grocery crew; not even a single daytime grocery person. It's no wonder why we have fifteen u-boat carts overloaded with backstock and hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of holes throughout the store. I would not want night crew's job. It's such a thankless one and some of the guys regularly work ten or eleven hour shifts.

We have a couple on day crew like 3-4 but the thing is our night crew is short big time. Theres about 5-6 of us total on a good night. That means 2 in frozen and rest in dry groccery. They cut the hours so short nothing gets done store hasn't been conditioned in since our last walk through. We had about 5-6 walk through in a month and once there over everything goes to ****. They have the nerve to tell us we don't do our jobs i guess so theres only 5 of us. IF we condition then chances are thetheres gonna be a **** ton backstock or some pallets wont get touched. Not only that our day crew claims they don't know how to do a bail so when we get there theres always a **** ton boxes  and carts filled with boxes. We had like 2 days where only 1 person showed up because the schedule is so messed up then management or our GM will come yell at us and its like " well im just following my schedule buddy". Theres never any managers to be found so if u don't work that day and they call u in u gotta come early to get a overrride

You can't get anyone to make a bale...I've never seen one deli, bakery, or dairy person do one...It's always either grocery, produce, or the receiver...I've made so many bales I can't even count the number...I would also mention some of the vendors, too, who conveniently leave their boxes lying around beside the bailer, and leave...Of course, if there's a large enough mess and the backroom looks like sh**, we have managers who aren't afraid to pitch in and get the job done...Teamwork! The way it's supposed to be!
