Has anyone else ever had this experience? I went online to the greatpeople.me website under the "My Time Off" section and requested certain days off for vacation WAY AHEAD OF TIME. And then, after asking me/discovering what days/times "I" wanted off for vacation, ANOTHER one of my coworkers claimed SHE wanted to take a 1+ week vacation around that same time! And after seeing my written requested vacation "days" on the dept's calendar, she decided SHE wanted to take a 1+ week vacation around that time. And needless to say, SHE got her vacation time and I didn't and was just expected to "suck it up", in spite of the fact that:
A) I was promised by my supervisor I could have those days off in 2016 LAST YEAR and B) "I" had asked of for those vacation days WAY AHEAD OF TIME. But in fact, I'm the ONLY one in the dept this seems to happen, too. Everyone else ALWAYS get their requested vacation days. I've been with the company for about 3+ years now and am a really hard worker, so there's really no reason I should be discriminated against when it comes to vacation time/scheduling.
Has anyone else ever dealt with this type of situation? How did you handle it, if so?

Are you a male or female and does your store favor females more cause mine does. Other than that that person might have been there longer then u
Did you request those days off on the official vacation calendar that's usually suppose to be done by the middle of March? If this is an official vacation that was approved back then, then they have to give it to you. Your union steward should have copies of all the vacation schedules for the store. It doesn't matter who put it on E-Schedule first of who has more seniority. If it was approved as an official vacation and it's marked on the vacation calendar, then they have to let you take your vacation.
