Hey I've been working at kroger since 05/09/16 I was wondering about the pay section in my about info.

Here is how it's listed:

Current pay rate: $7.30

Current job step:10

Next payrate: $7.35

Next job step: 20

Accrued credited qauntity: 23

Quantity remaining: 3

Can some of please explain it for me...  thanks!

This is simple..it tells you how much less they will be screwing you after your next few raises. Mcd's will make you rich at that rate.

That relates to your seniority and associated pay raise. For clarification on your contract, find your store union steward and ask them.

That is...a very odd payscale and raise you're at. It basically means you have 3 more hours to get your 5 cent raise that only took 26 hours to get. Makes no sense to me either if you've been working there for 5 months.

I read it as a nickel raise after 26 weeks with 3 weeks to go. 

My raises:

6 months a nickel.

12 months a nickel.

24 months a nickel.

36 months 45 cents.

That was when I started in 2007.

The current contracts go by hours instead of months if you don't average atleast 28 hours a week.

Basically, a raise at 6 months, 12 months and then 2 years.  If less than 28 hours a week average, you don't get the raise until you meet the hours criteria.

 Some divisions go by weeks instead of hours. Thats why it looks so weird.
