I previously resigned from my position at Kroger . 

I still had a weeks vacation left, will I be able to draw that? 

Exactly what can I do since I left ? I was in the union for 

5 yrs, do I get my vacation paycheck, what about my

guarnishment I had on my check, what will they do

about that?

How can you quit your job if you owe someone so much money, that you have a garnishment against you?

Yes; you are entitled to your vacation pay. You say you were in union, then read your contract under the Separation pay section and it should give you more details.

In most cases, your remaining vacation pay will bre prorated based on how much of the year you've worked.  For example, if you worked 3/4 of the year, you will receice 3/4 of your remaining vacation pay.  So, if anyone decides to quit, wait until it's close to the end of the year so you receive as much vacation pay as possible.  Of course if you've already used up your vacation time for the year, then it doesn't matter.
