I've been at Kroger almost 3 years and I don't know the answer to this. If I change my availability for one week only, will my availability after that week stay how it is now or will I have to change it afterwards?

Under my contract, I think we are only able to change our availability twice a year.

For one week, I would just request the days off.  Let the schedule writer know you will work on your usual unavailable days if you are able to.

Use a ph day to get paid for the request.  There might be an option to request it off without pay.

If you request an availability change for just one week only, after that week is over, your availability will revert to back what it originally was.

I am not aware you can change your availability only twice a year. As we are paid weekly, you can go onto Greatpeople and there is a link to request time off and change the hours you are available-with the hours change you have to check the box "make permanent" otherwise it will only be good for the week/days you select.
