Does anyone know how the kronos system works and can tell me what happens if you forget to clock out? Does it clock you out at the time of your last break punch or does it alert them of a missing punch? Because I think I forgot to clock out tonight. -_-
The SRS at my store usually gets with the person for clarification on the missing punch, so I'm thinking it likely gets flagged in the system. If you don't work tomorrow, you need to either go to the store and verify your punch at the time clock with the inquiry function or call and ask to have it verified since payroll has to be done (I believe) by 9:00AM Sunday, so that you are properly compensated on your next check.
Depends on how well your Payroll person works. Mine old one would know I only worked 8 hours, fix it and then ask me about it later to make sure the correction was correct.
My new one would put a small note by the time clock and not fix it until I came to them. No punch, no pay is their motto.
Your missed punch will throw out a flag to someone.
Write in your payroll correction book if your store has one that you punched out at so and so time.
