The paper schedule says OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF for next week Thanksgiving week all week zero hours! I have been receiving direct deposit. I am part time when I reported to work today I was told there was a check for me up front. It had an ending date of tomorrow and had two days on it of the four days I worked this week plus included a two hour show up rate as well. There are two days missing from the check and the check is a week early. I should get it by direct deposit next week Thursday so I was paid twice this week. When I ask my manager she just says I don't know.. everyone I ask says I don't know. I have not been told anything. I am not on the schedule for next week. I am told sometimes they forget to put people on the schedule. I have not been written up for anything and never called into any meetings.
Go directly to a store manager and ask what days they would like you to work next week. Also, ask why your check was a week early. They would be able to give you a confirmation as to whether or not you work for Kroger still.
A co store director, 2 front end managers/leads, a bakery manager and a service deli assistant manager. The question dhould more be who didn't I ask? The store director wasn't there today.
My manager/lead says she writes it but that another different manager changes it around. I asked my manager lead and she claims no responsibility or knowledge of what's going on as usual. This other elusive schedule changing different mansger was not there for me to ask.
No help revolving circle of people asking other people who know nothing who then ask other people who then ask the same people originally asked. No one knows anything around here.

If you work in the bakery (since you said you asked the bakery manager and assistant deli manager), your bakery manager should be doing the schedule, and no one should be messing with it, unless the store manager changes it.
