Has anyone had managers ignore their availability?
I changed my availability to have two days off in a row for medical reasons (my doctor is several hours away and I have to travel), however I keep getting scheduled for these days. They accepted my availability and it was a permanent change. It was accepted months ago but every week I have to say, "I can't work these days" and swap shifts. Is there anything I can do to get this sorted? Does anyone have experience with this?
You can do two things: keep reminding them over and over or go to your doctors as planned. When the complain about you not being there show them your note (to prevent you from getting written up) and say you were approved for permanent unavailability for those days. Repeat often as needed
