I get my pay in a check since I don't have a bank account and I won't be working at Kroger's much longer anyways.
I go on vacation this Saturday and I have no way to collect my check while on vacation and I really need the money. Does Kroger do pay advances? If so how would I go about doing that?
Yes they do, but it is probably too late now. On your comm log sheets, there should be a vacation section and in that section, you write your vacation week and if you want to be paid early (pay advance) or on schedule. By default it is on schedule. Talk with your payroll person tomorrow to see if it isn't too late.
