fined for not taking breaks? seems like kroger would jump for joy at the prospect of a worker skipping their break to slave for them a little bit longer each day. skipping your lunch could be an issue, especially if you work 8 hours, as the lunch is unpaid and skipping it will clock you in at 8.5 hours which is a half hour overtime. aka you're going to have some very grumpy management on your heels.
Nobody even clocks out for break... I've seen a handful do it on day shift, night shift? In 3-4 months I never saw one person clock out for break.
Ha, my store would be the same way. Heck my own DH is like "who needs a break? I don't take one." So I'm more than positive that we could be fined as all get out at times for some of us that don't get a break.
