Things your grocery store bagger will NEVER tell you

1. We have our favourite customers. Unfortunately you aren't one of them! 2. We silently roll our eyes when you bring your reuseable bags-some of us *don't* want to save the planet and don't give a flip about being "green." 3. Earth mothers (you know who you are): you are SO annoying. 4. We *don't* have any stickers for your screaming child because he/she is acting like an a**. If your kid was well-behaved, we would go find some. 4. Everything has been put out. No we won't go into the warehouse and mess up their counts for your bag of chips. 5. Just because you see us every day that does NOT mean we are your friend. You only know me thru Kroger. It's my call if I want to consider you a friend. I can count on one hand the number of customers I consider friends. 6. Do NOT ask me to skirt our state's liquor laws and let you take a pass on showing ID. I will not risk my job nor will my cashier risk their job just because you think we will steal the info from your license for identity theft. We see hundreds of people a day. We are too busy to think of anything else except getting to the next customer. I will NOT risk my job nor my store's liquor license just because YOU think the laws don't apply to you!!

1. We honestly do NOT care about your hemmeroids or your other personal issues. We act like we do because it's REQUIRED. It's part of the job.

2. No one cares about the weather. We're out in it constantly. We know how it is.

3. No one wants to hear about Trump. He's all over the media. But we'll listen because it's required.

4. KEEP YOUR NON-SERVICE ANIMALS OUTSIDE. A shaggy dog with matted fur smelling like week old panther **** is NOT a service animal.

5. Watch your kids. The 'It takes a village to raise a child' saying does NOT work well in the USA. Watch your child because we will NOT do it for you

Funny you mention that about the kids. I'm not a bagger or a person that brings in the carts. But there was a day last week when I was nearly run over by a customers' kids in the bakery section when I was filling the floor and the mom apologized and moved off somewhere else. Well I went back to our back table near the milk and what not to fill that too. And the mom was chasing after the kids again. I moved out of the way this time, but of course it was my lucky day for my DH to be off and pushing his grandson up the aisle in a cart. And was like "hey you could have caught them blank(insert my name here)" and was chuckling about it.

I don't know what he was smoking before he came in. But there is no way in the hell I'm going to be catching some stranger's kids and be known as the damn Kroger Kidnapper or something. At most I would have done is ask if someone was okay if one of them tripped and fell. But I'm totally not going to be catching anybody's children they can't get under control. That is between the mom and whoever they actually run into. But don't involve me like that.
