And they either bring one bag and one bag only for a $100.00+ order or the bag(s) smells like rotting elephant ass in the middle of July during a heat wave

people who bring their own bags are the bane of the front end's existence. you have to love it when you're bagging an order coming down the conveyor out of instinct and someone self-righteously slaps their funky felt bags in front of you. i've bagged half your order, and you want me to repack them into different bags? of course, i would do it, but on the inside i'd be boiling with fury. i'm so glad i got out of the front end when i did, because any longer and i would have surely had a stroke. i commend anyone who can survive day to day there.

When I use to have that happen, I'd take the plastic bags with the items in them and place them in the re usable bag.  Just to piss them off.

I've done that too. They'd give a look like 'Oh, ok then... Guess I have to take it like this.'

Uhhh.... No ****.

When customers say they have bags at the bottom of the cart and I have to wait I just leave and go to another lane. I don't have time to wait for you to find your bags at the bottom of the cart and there are plenty of other customers I can bag for. Usually the customer is forced to bag their own stuff but if the customer makes the poor cashier do it I will return and give them a hand.
