Is music gone all stores or just mine? Last week it was very very loud. Manager said something in the huddle asking where produce was. Someone said they told them. Then I said they probaly didn't hear you with that loud radio. He sad they have a radio? He got on the PA and said. Produce come to the huddle and turn off your radio. I don't know what happened its just been off the day after that.

I wish they'd get rid of the awful IN STORE AUDIO NETWORK "music feed" at all the stores!  It gets on my nerves.  Big time.  Shopping is more relaxing when you aren't being forced to listen to repetitive noise pollution and the stupid ad spots the whole time you are in the store.  However, I would be very surprised if Kroger got rid of the music since they usually don't pay any heed to common sense ideas.

Well like I said for some reason the last few days it has been off. The day after the comment was made about the radio. When I said radio I meant the music but the manager was being a smart A like always. Maybe he turned it off. I bet when someone from corp office comes in they will ask why it is off.

Paging cuts the music. We have the audio network plus individual depts in the back room can have music on within reason.

I hate the store music.  Sometimes it shuts off for a while, but I don't know why.

One of my Kroger fantasies is that the store is quiet, like a library.  Or, at least like a library is supposed to be.

We have that in store audio network music at our store. Honestly, I don't notice the music at all until someone tells me. My brain just ignores it.

Customer goes "god, I hate this song" and I'm like "what song?" "the one playing in the store." and I'm like "oh, ****, there's music playing?"
