Kroger yodel posts vs reality

If I could post to the Kroger Yodel social media site anonymously...

We make sure no one escapes through our fire exits. Ever. #safetyweek

That is a serious safety hazard actually and Kroger could be fined heavily for that.

That's crazy. I can tell you if I needed to get through in an emergency, they're would be thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damaged product from me clubbing over it mashing it below my feet

I'm thinking that would be a best case scenario. There's likely to be more than one person trying to get out. When I envision it, I'm thinking there is smoke from the fire so you may or may not be able to see the next shopping cart you are trying to jump in/over get to that exit door.

The entire store is a **** show but the complete disregard for safety is what p***es me off the most.

One of the reasons I am not on Yodel is that there is a provision in  the Yodel TOS that says Kroger can monitor postings. So you really can't be anonymous and there is lack of constructive criticsm there anyway

I read Yodel but never post. The posts coming out of my store are the funniest bunch of BS  (hence the discrepancy of what my store looks like based on what is posted to Yodel versus the reality of what is really going on.)

Anyways, this week it's been flooded with 'look how safe we are' posts for #safetyweek. It's so tempting to follow up the 'look at us doing safety stretches' with 'look at our completely blocked fire exits' or 'check out our minors making a cardboard bale' or countless other safety issues.

Please post the photo to both OSHA and ethicspoint.com/.

To Krogrr, emergency exits are just auxiliary work spaces, great for carts, backstock, salvage, or whatever is handy to park in the fire door.

Multiple stores--one brand new--all the same disregard for decency, human safety, and law.  (Who cares if we block fire exits--we probably won't need them--just don't go over that 1% overtime.  Now, there's an issue we care about!)
