No, it can be a huge hassle. You gotta worry about lots of tiny cosmetics / drugs / makeup bottles and such (some of them are a pain to keep neat on the shelf) and you have to worry about problems with lots of product (and resulting backstock) being "Pushed" onto you even though there isn't room for a lot of stuff, esp seasonal. Depending on the store, sometimes the backroom is easy to work in, and taking stock carts back and forth to the sales floor, other stores are a PAIN with cramped quarters in the back room area for backstock, and trying to keep stuff organized. You may have to be a whiz at following printed directions in putting together stuff that comes broken down in boxes (like lawn furniture,hammocks, outdoor stuff) in the summer, if you store has a lot of that kind of thing for sale during the warmer months.
