Yesterday store managers came down to check temp logs, they asked to talk to the staff that was on duty at the time. I just walked in. They were looking directly at me when they spoke with the whole staff. They were letting us know that a temp check was missed yesterday and that it has happened several times. If you look at the temp log you can clearly see when I get there, because I never miss the temp logs, when I'm on the clock. I use to just fill out the blank ones for the other team members, but that is falsifying the logs. If I'm not even on the clock at those times, yet my initials are on the logs as taking the temp, then I could get in trouble. So I quit falsifying them and just started temping the minute I start working in hot foods. I looked at the sheet and seen that I wasn't on during the times they was talking about it, being missed. I then realized they were looking right at me because my initials are pretty much the only initials on that sheet. That I don't really have anything to worry about. First shift started blaming second shift. Uhh! I think you better look at that sheet again. I'm the only one who has worked the second shift in the last 10 days. I know those temp logs are filled out while I'm at work.
