I am trying to get out of working Ripper shift (Its horrible and I dont get enough sleep). My Store Director always asks for proof of school and I show him. Recently I updated my eschedule to the following: Mon-Wed (unavailable), Thursday 2pm-12am, and FridaySaturdaySunday (8am-9pm). Problem is that before this I had Friday-Sunday as anytime which is when I work Ripper shift. So now I put Fri-Sun as 8am-9pm available.

What should I tell him if he asks me why I am not able to work in the early morning anymore? Its hurting my sleep and I'd prefer day shifts. Also how long do your schedule writers take to accept eschedule availablity changes?

I recommend you at least take your name out of your profile.  Maybe even change your nick.

When they write the schedule, your availability should be flagged when they save it if they use eschedule program.

Requested days off are what get approved or denied.

They do use eschedule and I guess its an approve/deny thing. It has been about 9 days now since I have submitted my availability what should I do? I still says 'pending'. blankstare
