Can't speak for the whole division. But I'm at a marketplace store. And last I've seen they cut and package it. But they also have a seafood section combined to their department that customers enjoy as well. So could have something to do with that too.
Here in the Atlanta divisions, all departments outside of the pharmacy get paid the same based on your position, unless you are grandfathered in to a position.
