I don't have any experience as a DSD Receiver, but at one of my previous stores, I was in and out of the receiving area frequently and often saw what the DSD Receiver there had to deal with on a daily basis. I would talk with her frequently and there were many days she was pretty stressed out and frustrated. It's not an easy job (people are tempted by it because it's a position where you're more isolated from customers than most jobs at Kroger, although you still have to deal with customers from time to time). Make no mistake, though, it's not easy work and there's a lot of responsibility involved... probably more so than most positions at Kroger.
