Just wanted to get a discussion going on about the new contract coming up. Anyone hear yet on what the biggest concerns are. Management is starting to post rules everywhere are getting petty about things. For example requiring a Polo to be worn under smocks and banning off the clock employees from talking to one's that are on the clock. But we all know how they like to crack down right before contract negotiations.

Haha, All the contract will be about Health Insurance and keeping the doors open. With Amazon coming its all about Amazon, just like years ago it was all about Walmart. Unemployment being so low and Wages being an issue EVERYWHERE in Kroger, wage increased might occur. But with higher wages means, high productivity and less fellow associates.
In all the years I was with Kroger, management would always nit pick and micro manage every little thing when contract time was coming up. Usually it would start around summertime, but the last couple of contracts they started the crap in January.
