My old store is not a melting pot.

The store I use to work at is not a melting pot.  Jesus said i judge ye not by the flesh but by the heart.  It could be that the bulk of the local town residents are Caucasian or the fact that Caucasians only Talley about 35% of the local population.  My managers keep placing individuals of color, ethnicity or English as a second language in the deli.  Is this legal? The front end dealing with customers is mostly Caucasians.  If they are not they visually look it.  Is this legal?  I don't think it is coincidence.

not legal but unless you have proof management is making a decision to put people of color in the kitchen and whites up front to talk to the guests (similar practices happen in the restaurant industry all the time) then I suggest you keep a lid on it.  look out for proof though!

Uuuuh, do you really want people who don't understand English too well to handle your money???

And what exactly is "looking Caucasian" either they're white or they're not.

Mixed race people generally look mixed, not white.
