I've been told that the delay on me getting the Lead/Head position in the Deli is the training program. Supposedly there is a new training program for the Lead being worked on and isn't completed yet. I was also told by Store managers that I didn't have to write a LOI (Letter of Interest) for the position, but then read and was told by other Union members that I do. So, Should I write the LOI or wait it out and see if they are telling the truth about the training program?

I would ask the Union to provide Mgmt with the LOI, we don't have that process in my KMA so its a little foreign to myself. There's a "NEW" training program about every 2 years. The first program I know of actually taught you how to do the job, the next program just taught you how to manage people, the next will most likely try to teach how to Do & Manage people.....or just follow whatever the report tells you.

I wrote the letter and gave it to Store Manager, HR, Co-manager (working on getting me the promotion), and have one for the Union also. I just hope they get that I'm serious.
