Will be my 1 year anniversary at ol' Kroger. Which means I've earned my week off. And although it's already scheduled, if one of the managers is on today, I'll see if I can get them to make sure they can assist me/tell me what I can do with scheduling that week off if it doesn't show in my list of time off options still. Although personally I think they should have that option in your time off options even if you HAVEN'T earned it just yet. So that way when you can, they can just get it turned on if it was previously greyed out. And make it easier that way for peeps to schedule it with no prob.

i literally just now got off work after talking to my manager to get my vacation in, lol. just put in my request on greatpeople. from october 1st through the 7th, kroger will be the LAST thing on my mind.

Thanks and really? I had talked to them about way back in February and it's been posted in the vacation schedule for a while now. I just never had the option to put it into e-schedule til now. I hope they don't do something funny with it though as I had it in when I was supposed to have and even before I became full time. I mean I wanted it in November and THEY were the ones to bump me up to October. So if they try and yank it from me now, would be crazy.

Haha nice. I didn't get a chance to talk to my managers about it the other day. Got slammed as all hell with customers that everybody was running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. But going to swing over to great people me now and see if I can put it in. And will also let my scheduler know as soon as I get in and see her if there was any issues or hang ups.

If it's on the vacation schedule, they can't take it from you now. That's what the vacation schedule is for, so the higher seniority people get first pick. :)
Yea, it finally showed the vacation option yesterday, so I put it in before I forgot to do so. And although it gave me an error at first I refreshed that page and it was set lol.
