not sure how it works at fred meyer, but at my kroger store they usually put an order form by the time clock for the sweatshirts and jackets around fall. we can ask for new polos/t shirts and get them for free, but it's all about catching the HR lady or a manager to actually get your hands on one.

That would be interesting.

We used to have UPC's we'd ring up on the register, then the store secretary would take the receipt and get you whatever.

These days, management just pockets the cash and gives you one out of a box.  Good luck.

I, too, work at Fred Meyer, and got an email about this in my company email. I will get you the details tomorrow. Also, try asking HR or the store director.

Don's Group Attire I believe is the company uniform website.  Do be forewarned 1)  The sizing runs a little small on the small/med and the large sizes run large sizes.  They think individuals that needs a medium shirt have no body fat and individuals that need a large shirt require a lot of room.  2)  Ordering is very slow regardless of one shirt orders to med/large sized orders.  I ordered one shirt and it took four weeks to get to me.  3)  Returns take forever and you're better off just donating the shirt that doesn't fit ot hr.  So they can gift it to another fellow employee. 4)  There are no sizing charts to help you appropriately fit shirts and pants.  It's a gamble if you find the right size.

Honestly you're better off just going to a second hand or good will store.  Finding a shirt color that closely resembles the store color and self embroider your store logo into the color.  I'd be much cheaper.  Especially since you buy every thing your self and won't really be able to write off work cloths on your tax deductions.  Due to your average individual not having enough to qualify.

To add on:  Your shirts will get trashed out quickly.  Cheap is better.  I only have two shirts I rotate through and honestly I haven't a clue the last time they were washed.  For I could care less as the company won't reimburse their employees for clothing.
