all it takes is one late truck to completely **** up a department. You may have one guy scheduled to sort and stock a truck, but if that truck is late, they're having to do something else (backstock for instance) until the truck arrives. Then the guy who is supposed to condition that evening will likely have to run the truck. Corporate worms walk in and wonder "why isn't this store conditioned?" --Well fuk face, if you actually worked here you could see how things happen. Hours don't just magically appear. We can't control what time the truck arrives.
We get late trucks all the time, but fortunately I have a couple of understanding co-managers who give me the ability to work them regardless of the amount time needed and when they arrive.
