With all the talk about opiates, have you ever had anyone OD in your store?

Yeah we actually had someone die about a month or so ago from an OD in one of our bathrooms. The guy was found where he locked himself in right before the store closed around 1 AM. Police and forensics came in and everything. Management kept it hush though and wouldn't discuss it with any employees. Didn't even make the news. It's actually the 2nd death we've had on the property too. First was from a lady committing suicide in her car out in the parking lot.

Overdose deaths aren't unknown in the ghetto apartment complex behind the store.

A guy in the midst of a heroine overdose was trying to sleep it off in front of the store.

Firefighters had to dogpile him to administer Narcan. He was putting up a fight, as it tends to ruin the high.

The police arrived shortly after.
