Honestly never had one as serious as you'd think it'd be. Usually the parent was inattentive, and the kid wondered off to look at candy or something like that, we send two employee's to cover the door, page about the kid and their description, and we spend MAYBE 5 minutes at most looking for the kiddo. My store is pretty ****e, and we have to do reverse code Adam's a lot, and help the kid search for their parents, and when we find the junkie parent they couldn't give less of a **** that their kid was missing. Pretty sad.
Code Adam is a good idea, but gets ignored with all the programs. I have more kids coming up to me saying they lost their parent! I guess that is a "Code Mommy, Code Daddy"....and the parent just comes up and there they go!
Yup, luckily thought it didn't last more then not even a minute or two. So was a rather interesting surprise to sit n down and just about to eat before I clock in and then be searching the floor 45 seconds later

RE: Have you ever had a "Code Adam" in your store?
I don't think that we've ever officially had one before. But that was before I went on vacation. I come back and we have new people in my department and a whole map and Code Adam system on the wall. So not sure what went down over that one week I was out. But I guess we have measures to handle it when it does go down.
