our new manager is a complete stickler over our conditioning and i hate it. do customers really care if every single item on the shelf is razor aligned with the edge? heck no! why do we have to get yelled at for not conditioning fast enough when we have to make it ever so perfect because my boss is scared of getting yelled at? i just feel like it's a battle i can't win.
Conditioning. Ha! I hear you. We have to have 2-3 cans of product high on shelf, when it has to be pulled foward, not over edge of shelf labels facing the same way. Same with our product in boxes (cookies etc). There can NOT be one thing off set. Well don't they realize facing and conditioning product don't mean $hit to a customer? We condition and face, and it gets messed up in minutes. Why can't it just be neatly stocked and leave it at that. No conditioning...as long as it's presentable and full

i agree. if it were up to me i'd just pull one forward and make sure everything was straight in the shelves. it's just going to be destroyed again, anyway. my boss is so afraid of my manager that he makes us do ot just to finish conditioning.
sounds like you're a CC? forgive me if i'm wrong, but that's what they made us do when I was one. I WISH that was the only thing I had to condition, because doing 12 aisles of grocery is torturous. thank god i'm not doing it by myself.
