I have worked at Kroger almost 3 yrs now and I started out working grocery at night and worked 35-40 hrs a week There have been 4 or more employees to guali that was hired in after me. I had a chance to work day shift so that's what I did as of now I have worked grocery, produce, dairy, buffing the floors, etc. my question is can they cut my pay from like $12.00 down to $8.75 an hour. I really don't understand but yet I feel like my local Union stewart (that is the one at the store I work at) isn't helping me or trying to help me. Please tell me what I need to do. Thanks so much
Your area might have a different pay scale for night crew, that would be the only reason your rate of pay to decrease other then night premium. They should have warned you before you moved shifts.

Were you considered a combo clerk? Were you officially promoted to clerk from bagger? Something is missing here
