I'm VERY picky whom I allow on Facebook. I don't even have much family on there. I don't need anyone "b*tching" about what I post. I have an OVERABUNDANCE of family DEMANDING that I accept their friend requests. I have a few co-workers on there and a few random friends but that's it
I'm not on Facebook, period. Nor am I on Twitter or any other social media platform. I've never understood this obsession with putting every little detail of your life on the internet. You're not that important.
i avoid adding co workers on facebook. i'll be damned if i ever accept a friend request from my boss. i like to keep my personal and professional life separate. pretty cliche, i know, but i prefer it that way.
Agreed. Because there's always "that one" who has to report ANY post you do. Be it family or co-worker. I've had some pretty heavy arguements that bordered in full fledged screaming matches because if a post I wrote that was igsignificant.
Nope, nada, will never happen. Not bit into social media and as I've said before, don't need folks judging my life and choices left, right, and center.
I'm friends with a couple current and former coworkers who I also know personally. About a year ago I actually blocked my managers. We get along well and I am a department head, but I don't want them seeing so much as my profile picture. They know nothing of my life outside of work aside from basic small talk stuff/what part of town I live in etc. Call me paranoid but you can never be too careful and I don't want to give them another perspective to view me with.
