Spousal coverage they said.  Well the $9 happened but not spousal coverage.

Anyone know what the qualifications are for spousal coverage?

I'm a FT employee what am I missing?

It all depends on your Union Contact and FT Status, spousal coverage is not an guaranteed benefit with FT coverage now. I believe in Central KMA they cut Spousal and Dependent coverage all together! In my KMA, no one is able to get the FT Status that included Family Health Care coverage.

Damn. Thankfully they still have individual and dependent/family coverage in my division still.

There are many employees not happy with our new contract but I don't think there is anything that can be done about it.

Right? Those most upset are those that are part time and want full benefits.
They voted for the contract but didn't read it.

I have to contribute 10 more times to be eligible for spousal coverage.
