What to do when it feels like your hard work and loyalty to your store just isn't being taken seriously? Clearly I worked beyond 32+ hours last week, staying extra to fill holiday stuff in the grocery aisles. I could have left on time and just left all of those holes empty on the shelf but I decided to stay. Yet I was only documented as working 26 hours for the week. I worked at least 38 to 41 hours. I even had 2 assistant managers stare dead at me as I put my time sheet into the empty box one day on a day where I worked 9 hours. Yet none of it was recorded. Should I confront them about all of these missing hours? Or simply go to a union rep?

Definitely ask your payroll person to correct it.  Sounds like one shift got missed.  It is too late to get it on the next check but it can be on the one afterwards.

I always write down my hours when I get home.  If I ever need a correction, I know for certain how many hours I worked on any given day.

As long as you had permission to work 9 hours one day, they shouldn't complain too much about correcting it.

They must pay you for hours your worked.  If you can't get it corrected, then ask the union for help.
