Does your store close early on New Year's Eve?

my store closes at 10pm for new years eve

My store closes at 11. I don't really know what the point is when it's not a 24 hour store anyway.

Our store runs 24/7 and has those normal hours for New Year's. We close at 5 PM on Thanksgiving, 6 PM on Christmas Eve, and are closed for Christmas.

Yep, regular hours for my store too. Can already hear the questions about the wine and so forth being asked. As our liquor store/bar area is right across from the bakery. And without fail someone will grab a cake or a pie and try and ask us about the wines over there.

same here in my store, i'll have people asking wine questions, as well as the frequent callers pressing 1 who ask 'how late's the liquor store open'?

Luckily i'm 8-4 on sunday.

In the Louisville Division the holiday hours for 24/7 stores are as follows:

Thanksgiving Day- Close at 5:00 PM. Re-open at 7:00 or 8:00 AM the next morning

Christmas Eve- Close at 5:00 PM

Christmas Day- Closed. Re-open at 8:00 AM Dec. 26th

New Year's Eve- Close at 9:00 PM. Re-open at 8:00 AM Jan 1st.

We also close early on nights they have to do some type of maintenance work (computer upgrade, floor stripping, etc)

Dang extra lucky, can close on maintenance work nights. Unless it's super major, like a gas leak or something, I doubt they would even conceive of closing early at our store for any reason.

Well, that only happens a couple times a year.

We have regular store hours on New Years Eve.
Close at midnight and re-open at 5 am, Jan 1st.

We close at 11pm New Years Eve, and 6 am open time on New Years Day
