I dont know about cashiers specifically. However, we just had a guy get let go for stealing from our store and I can conform that they looked at the camera footage as well as involved the districts loss prevention.

Of course they look at cameras lol. LP and store level.

Its Byebye...and depending on the amount and how easy it is to prove.....police are called.

Apparently at my store you can steal all you want and the store manager will let you keep your job.  Kroger should be ashamed of themselves.  Its really just a place for people to steal particularly management.

Was just curious cause they told us that tills were coming up short. So every cashier was assigned to one register and they were to stay on that register all day.

Yes we look at the cameras. We research what we can research. Is the shortage a mistake or not, was someone scammed...

You can pull a report that shows a till was opened but there was no customer order. thats a good place to start looking at the camera. If we see something or suspect someone we can then hand it off to LP for them to interview the cashier or lower the boom or call the police or whatevers appropriate
