I put in for my only week of vacation last week at my store and picked 3 different weeks varying from March to October and Ive been told all 3 choices have been denied despite the last week being approved on kroger feed then cancelled the next day and I got told to pick again. Im seeing the payroll clerk to see what weeks are left to take but have people had this issue before? Is it pretty common?
I feel like I cant plan anything as I never know when Ill be off work, Ive been there over a year now and I feel like they arent bothered about giving people time off!
Unfortunately it is. I couldn't get my last week until the end of October this year, despite people under me taking summer vacations last year. I think it's time to find a new job.....
Thanks I wont be impressed if I have to wait that long for a weeks vacation, Im currently waiting for references to respond to a potential job that I interviewed for a while ago, I really would like this other job as its a Monday to Friday job with set hours and no weekends and 4 weeks paid time off.
