Are these numbers like reserved UPC codes for store brands or something? Years ago when I used to be a cashier in another state in a store chain unrelated to Kroger, their store brands began with these numbers. Now here with Kroger, I see these numbers.

How about 52867? Kroger / store brand too? I've memorized a few produces UPCs starting with 33383 and 52867 to combat produce scanning as (I predict) produce scanning just goes off of whether or not you typed in the UPC or the PLU.

011110-XXXXX is UPC Prefix associated with Kroger Brand items, along with 041260-XXXXX. 033383-XXXXX is just a UPC Prefix associated with produce items. Kroger has alot of different stores what use the same 011110-XXXXX sometimes you will get "Our Brand" item with a different Kroger banner on it. Hey's these diced tomatoes will not scan, OH.....they are "Fry's Brand".

Has Kroger sold its products in stores owned by Supervalu? Because I used to work for a store owned by Supervalu and I saw brands beginning with 011110 all the time.

I do not believe so, Kroger sees "Our Brands" as a driver for sales and wouldn't allow outside organizations to capitalize on the categories higher product standards.  Currently, I believe Kroger only has "Banner" (Kroger, Ralph's, etc on packaging, Private Selection, STO and PSST along with the differing non-foods categories brands.  11111-00000 I believe is P&G..

I swear, it wasn't 11111-00000, but 11110-00000. I remember I used to memorize things like the store's gallon milk bottle UPCs so I could save myself the trouble when a customer would bring a bottle that doesn't have the label to scan.
