Nope, cause our little clinic is clear across the other side of the store. I've taken a break in the Starbucks sitting area a time or two when it was slow. But that was cause I was waiting on my drink and wasn't going to waste time not eating it while I waited. Most use our cafe area, for that reason as well. Close and very convenient as opposed to going all the way upstairs.

Luckily, we have two timeclocks and one of them is in the breakroom. Even if the timeclock was on the other side of the store from the breakroom, I still wouldn't start timing my break or lunch until after I got to the breakroom. That's why there's a 7-minute grace period.
We have two timeclocks too. Except the one in our breakroom is inside the computer kiosk area of the HR office. It's a room which is closed 50% of the time. And if the managers see you using it, they tell you to use the other one instead. Which is by the customer service desk.

Why is it there then? The timeclock(s) are there for all hourly employees to use. If management is restricting access to one of the timeclocks, you need to file a grievance.

You are beyond lucky to have your's in your break room. That is where and how they should always be placed in all the stores in my opinion. I swear, and I think I mentioned this in another post, that I lose so much time having to clock out at the one around the corner from our Starbucks and across from the bathrooms nearest the deli. And then have to go all the way upstairs to grab my lunch box(I also used the bathroom on my breaks, so I'm not leaving at a critical moment in the deli or wasting time we don't have in the bakery).
So unless, I finish whatever food I packed 3 mins ahead of the time I need to clock back in(I'm not a slow eater and make sure to pack simple stuff to snack on). Other wise, I'm always clocking back in 2 or 3 mins late(which is the amount of time it takes me to get down 2 flights of 20+ odd steps(which ain't all that easy to go up and down when you are really feeling it after being on for a pretty grueling shift), walk clear across the cafe area and back around the corner to the wall behind Starbucks to clock back in).
I know that may sound whiny as hell, but it is also annoying as f*ck too, that they have one of our clocks there. And we get no grace period for our breaks(only the 7 mins after you were supposed to have clocked in for your shift). You either clocking out for a lunch(which I think only the managers really take) or you just screwed when you run over on your break as it they treat it just like a lunch anyway.
I go outside, smoke, and pray for a timely death. Makes it simpler for the clocking situation. I have always felt bad for those going to the break room. Thats at least 4-5 minutes of walking on your break.
That all being said, we dont have a little clinic to break in. Generally no one minds where people take breaks. Ive seen lunches spent sat in the magazines and books, or on the chairs in front of the pharmacy.
I usually take my break at Starbucks. But for a while I couldn't. The manager saw 3 employees sitting at Starbucks and had a massive freakout and banned us for a while from sitting there on break. So I would go sit in the pharmacy waiting area, because our break room doesn't have access to the store's wifi and I wanted to use it.
Our break room is far away. Burns half the break just walking there and back. A lot of employees take breaks out in front of the store (even if they don't smoke), which is probably why. And to escape from customers.
With our empty shelves and skeleton crews, it's difficult to go anywhere inside the store without being besieged by customers.

Customers find me and bother me while I'm outside about the outdoor furniture. Also sometimes a few of them have "subtly" left their carts next to me and give me a look without saying anything. I'm not a bagger so I just leave those alone.
