Frozen manager and Drug gm manager are a couple.......

Frozen manager and Drug gm manager are a couple doesn't this violate company rules?  The freezer door is located right across from the drug gm "stash" and when I'm trying to get my product down the hallway onto the shelf for customers to buy I have to watch and maneuver around these two love birds.  If I raise a stink to corporate do you think they will do something.  Also the frozen manager is a real dickhead and thinks he's part of store management.

I know Kroger has rules about management dating someone that is non mgt-to prevent sexual harassment. But what are the rules in general for an employee dating someone that works in their store?

As long as one employee isn't in direct supervision of the other employee, it's perfectly okay.  I know of several couples who met while working at the same store.   It only becomes a problem if the two people act like a couple of lovesick teenagers with raging hormones while they're suppose to be working.  It's not only counterproductive, but it makes everyone around them uncomfortable.

I know of a cashier and a bagger at my store who are in a relationship. They seem to be okay. No PDAs that I've seen from them.

There's lots of people in Krogerland who are couples, there's nothing wrong as long as one isn't in a position of authority over the other. Two department heads, perfectly fine.

There is a long history of Kroger people marrying each other. But if you ask Store Managers, there is a long history of DIVORCE too...haha

I'd love to have the money SM's have spent on divorce lawyers.  I could retire for sure.

That doesn't surprise me. Never ever ever work in the same building as your spouse, or you're just asking for a divorce.

What will happen usually (in my experience) is if a manager/non-manager relationship starts, one of them will be transferred to another store. Like a few years ago my former ASM started dating an associate at his store, which is why he became my ASM. And another ASM was dating a front end manager and she transferred to a better position at a different store, but they kept quiet about their relationship until after she transferred on her own accord. But everyone knew they were together because they were "roommates" but also went on "vacations" together.

These two went on vacation together and everyone knows about them.  Management loves the frozen manager because he puts his nose in their rears.  We got a good ole boys and girls club at my store.

Interesting, I didnt know that there were rules about SM's dating employees. Though I would think that a workplace relationship would be tough.

IF this really happened (and not a troll just having some fun)  this is just another indication showing what a corrupt, filthy, rotten and disgusting company Kroger can be, and is.

I'm still on reading other threads and came back to this one. Super true, not trolling. They're teenagers, probably 16/17. A cashier and a bagger (I believe). A deli employee walked into the break room and caught them. I've known of other employees doing stuff in there and the conference room, but they didn't get caught haha

We've had customers doing it in the fitting rooms before, so employees finding spots to get it on doesn't surprise me... although I'd personally pick a spot a tad more secluded than the break room, lol. So unsanitary, too... did those two even think about when the last time the floor was mopped before picking that spot?
