clicklist has to be done on time and their are. O exceptions so if they are helping then yes it was that bad. In some contracts it is against union policy but no one is going to complain when their helping.
Its against the Union Contract in Cincy/Dayton.....basically any work normally done be clerks Co-Managers is technically not allowed to be performed by Mgmt. If your seeking more hours or OT, signup/make your desires known...and then they are required to contact you if your off ...

Yes, this has happened at least twice in our store in the Louisville division. Two managers,a and two or three others from various depts were scrambling to fill CLicklist orders. NOT ENOUGH HELP WAS SCHEDULED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Its a MESS.
Oh, our co-managers are constantly filling clicklist orders. Yes, it's against our contract, but what can we do? The orders need done and they don't have enough help so at least once a week we have a co-manager pushing the clicklist trolley half the day.
Step up and help out CL yourself next time they're backed up, so your co-managers, who have much more important things to do, won't have to. On second thought, ignore that...file a grievance with your union for the hours co-managers work performing union jobs.
Southwest Division here, and not only have the co-managers had to jump in and push trolleys/attend, but our store manager has, as well, more than once. ClickList can be damned unpredictable... you never know how many orders you are going to have on a given day or how many same day orders are going to drop. Sure, there is forecasting and stuff to try and "predict" how many hours to budget for, but it is not accurate anywhere near 100% of the time.

Well if no on files a grievance then nothing will happen. If all these people are complaining about $$$, you can either get $$$ in a grievance or $$$ in them calling you in !

This is why I'm glad my store is non-union, don't have to deal with this BS. If a manager wants to help, let him help. That's free labor. We might not have the hours to do the work, and going over ELMS pisses all of the higher ups off.
Yes, its free labor. But if your sales volume increases and your not getting any additional resources, it the labor really free? I'm not saying a Co-Manager shouldn't help randomly, but if they are cutting associates hours and people are then Co-Managers have to "help". I have always said, work with your associates, be on the same page, work as a team.
