Indirectly, yes, by creating an horrible work environment and a top-down hierarchy that doesn't value candor, critical thinking, ethics, logic, and reason. "Team-player" gets defined by management as going along with abusing people and tolerating dangerous conditions. So, since we can't talk with the mucks, here we are.
If not, do managers and corporate know about it?
It's the top search result for "Kroger, employee, forum"; they'd have to be oblivious not to know.
How do they feel about it?
You'd have to ask them.
I'd love to engage them on the serious issues we try to talk about; I'd welcome their honest participation. (Dishonest denials and press-release, propaganda statements do not interest me.) If your policies and practices constantly contradict your six stated "values"--diversity, honesty, inclusion, integrity, respect, and safety--do you really believe in your "values"?
That's what Krogrr management should have to answer for; that's why I'm here.
There was a member of this site and former Kroger salaried manager called Management Drone who used to frequent this place on occasion; haven't seen him in quite awhile.
He mentioned a couple time that yes, Kroger corporate is very much aware of this site-----which is why it always amuzes me when the stray bullet head comes on here with self identifying information
You can't talk freely on the official Kroger site-you have to register and their TOS says Kroger can monitor posts at any time. I will be dammed if they will monitor what I write away from the store and off work hours
Oh I am sure they know, in fact, I hope they read some of these topics, maybe it will change something (likely not). Honestly I only stay because of the health insurance lmfao, if it werent for that, I'd have been out of there a long time ago
