Why do virtually all Kroger commercial ad spots over the In-Store Audio Network have to be as annoying as possible???

The very sudden, irritating opening sound on the one they have been playing lately (is that a rerun or a new one?) reminds me of a (hypothetical) insane chef dinging their "call bell" rapidly and repeatedly in an effort to get a waitress to hurry up and come back into the kitchen and pick up an order he has ready and waiting for some customers in his restaurant, before it gets cold.  (If anyone on here has worked in the "back of the house" in a restaurant, they might know what I mean).   DING DING DING DING DING DING!!!

Better than the lame ass barber shop quartet one. Honestly, I'll never buy northwest cherries JUST because of those lame ass ads.

Oh yes I HATED the "Sweeeeet Northwest cherries!" singing one, the newer one is at least less annoying.

Speaking of the in store audio network, they really need to get better songs disbelief hmm

Turn it down. Please. If we can't make it stop, could we at least make it quieter?

Would rather hear this cherry add 20 times a night than the same 30 F-ing weak ass pop and R&B songs they play night after night after night.

Oh boy!  Now customers can eat cherries all day as they shop and spit the cherry pits LITERALLY EVERYWHERE ON EVERYTHING AND LEAVE LITTLE PILES OF THEM ON SHELVES, TABLES, RACKS, IN SELF-SERVE FOOD CASES, EVERYWHEREEEEEEEE

I HATE cherry season!  Customers are DISGUSTING animals!

To go in just a  bit of a different direction here..............   Most of the songs I hear on the In-Store Audio Network are not particularly memorable or 'good to sing along with" anyway. The melody is often just plain crappy.  Imagine trying to sing along with a dumb song like "I can Dance" by Leo Sayer (should I yell at the same times he does?)

Now, if they ever played a really memorable, melodic song like "Everything is Beautiful", a super-classy standard from 1970, I seriously WOULDN"T mind if I heard a customer singing along!!!  I might have to sing a couple lines myself.  Check out this where Ray Stevens sang it live. The audience was having a good time.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlwfGh-SVXw

In-Store Audio wants desperately to believe that everyone loves them, the spots they run, and the music they play. What other store audio source announces who they are on a routine basis?

They think we love them and the music they play, and that we depend on their advice and their products to enjoy life.

ISA and Krogers marketing have utterly failed to realize that people these days think of their swill as outright spam.

We're IN THE STORE, you dorks. You don't need to sell us anything. In fact, every time you jam your excessive condescending smarm down our throats, it makes us want to leave as quickly as possible, with as much of our money as possible.

You are hopelessly out of date. Your every word is a stale cliché. You are the anti-Don Drapers, who is dead anyway.

Another hint: holidays, and the seasons themselves, do not exist to remind us to buy from you. A great summer does not "start" in your cosmetics aisle.

How does cosmetics start a "great summer?" Why not *sings in derpy voice* "a great summer starts doen the pet aisle

"A great summer starts down the house cleaning aisle"
