Got fired for stealing time at kroger ??

Here not so long ago  was working a long time for Kroger in Cincinnati area and I got one question to u what is stealing time from Kroger ? Well u would not think having two ulcers on bottom of your feet and bleed would be something u would get fired for if they where bleeding threw your shoe on to sales floor ? I did lol I took my first two  15 min breaks and had to put them to gather on first one because my foot was bleeding in my shoe so I took the hole 30 min to fix it and back to work like a good Kroger employee would but as the day went on till about 12:15 ish 12:30 my foot began to come threw my shoe again so J could not find a store manger so I told dairy mfr I need to go fix my foot again so I went was out side maybe 16 min or less now I know I should of clocked out for lunch but I thought go fix real quick and back in to work so had to go out in parking lot to truck together bandages and to clean the the ulcer and shoe well I came back in was out there 15 to 18 min so worked rest of the day and was called up to mgr office and told I was suspend pending and was to leave now and wait for UFC75 to get up with me and we figer this out well they did and we went to final step and was declined so fired

That's was a hard pill to take but I did the thing that work me up is the lady from Kroger did not care I was bleeding all over there sales floor where They sell food to the  public right out in there in frozen food dept Andi clean it up and then go out to fix my footing and clean shoe from blood coming out it Evey time I step down that it don't matter  if I was bleeding or not should of took care of this on my own time and not there's lol and so the 27 years I got under my belt down the tubes ,and my vacs not paid because they don't have to pay that on a stealing time lol and loss of job and insurance with your not going to get hired on some where full time  when your 42 and got two bad feet and other Heath problem s I had this job for a long time and I had to start over and hope I can get on making good money it's just a shame how Kroger gets rid of the people who work for them a long time and now I am no good to them now and can't do the job of the new young people there bring in there with by the way the wage increased  they next week lol right good luck to u all at Kroger now it's time I use what I paid into all my years to government and use SSI that's if I can even get it but I guess look for me out working some where  if I can pass there physical and work 40 hrs hard labor for 10 an HR some where

Youre not worth anything. No low level employee is when it comes to most places. Youre replaceable on a whim. That's just the way things are nowadays... no one cares

That's what they need to do to about half the employees, most of the time they are on their phones or standing around talking, while on the clock. That's stealing time. I don't care how long you've worked with the company.

I am so sorry that our union would not fight for you. I am in UFcw 75 and for a long time I have felt this union was in Krogers pocket. I have seen a lot of crap Kroger is pulling over last few years and I decided to retire this coming January. I will be 65 and I am taking my 32 years and getting out because you cannot trust anybody at Kroger. You really cannot trust your union anymore.

You're not lying. I play fortnite, text and watch videos for about 2 hours when I'm at work at kroger all while on the clock.

All I can say is you did steal time.  No matter the reason you have to be off the clock if your not working for Kroger.  You should have taken a "lunch" break.  you get up to an hour unpaid to do whatever you want.  Sorry about your situation but it's not always someone else's fault.  These days not enough people ask "what could I have done to avoid this situation."  With that being said, you should get your job back after fighting it.  We have 1 person that used to always go outside to smoke and go to the quik trip down the street on the clock when working over night.  She still works here, but has been in just about every department now.  I guess they cant find a way to fire her.

Ask the union to challenge it and say medical emergency.  Kroger was not calling 911 instead you partook it to handle the situation.  Kroger was denying 911 privileges.  Like they have done to me a few times.
