Randomly change scheduled positions

I was hired and trained for grocery well over a year or so ago. When I was hired and I would just be working grocery, gave my job description and training, etc. Just a few weeks ago they have began scheduling all of us for various departments anywhere from 1-3 nights a week. Do they do that at your store and without telling you they're going to do it?

Yep it's called needs of the business

If it were needs of business they wouldn't do it. Grocery just got through hiring new people because we were short and the job still doesn't get done since they're doing that so if it were NEEDS OF BUSINESS they wouldn't be doing it.

What other departments are you working in?  What times are the shifts?

Because you're not management you don't really know what you're talking about---including the subject of NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS. Get down or get out

Actually even the frozen lead doesn't seem to understand because he told me they've got enough people. They get done just fine because they have enough people and all have been there at least a year so Shut up and move on if you dont like my post.

*NEWS BULLETIN FROM STORE MANAGER: THE NEW GUYS GOT MOVED TO DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO SLOW SO WE'RE SHORT AGAIN WHILE THE OTHERS ARE NOT.*
