Does it really matter? I had a customer wanting one for his beer. I didn't have any at my drawer and I told him just keep the receipt, it doesn't matter. He practically threw a fit, demanding that he get one. He went to all the other cashiers, one by one, until he got one.
PAID stickers aren't for customers. They can have a green BOB sticker.
There's not enough PAID stickers to go around. We ran out the other week. If management had decided to be jerky about it, it would have meant employees wouldn't have been able to buy anything.

They eliminated Paid stickers a few years ago "because customers do not want stickers on their merchandise"...... Corp LP mandated them back into existence, since they reduce shrink. Corp LP mandated alot of stuff, "Security, section scan of area 82"...
