Our managers sure don't do our walks at the crack of dawn. Most of the time they don't do them at all.

The one "Manager Walk Schedule" I saw, said "Drive around perimeter of parking lot" @ 6:45 am, and had tasks up until 5 pm. I guess 50+ hour workweek and being "on call" and responsible for literally everything all the time is worth the $$$

IF my my store manager does the walk routine, he's certainly not there that early to start it. I clocked out today at 11am and hadn't seen him stop by the bakery yet.

Another way to waste time.

The new red/green papers are a nice touch, though.

Our manager does Store Walks as soon as he clocks in. He goes aisle by aisle picking up missed reshops that were placed on the wrong aisles. Then he goes to each dept and sees whats been done and not been done and goes over the day's game plan for that dept. Next, he has a mini huddle up front with the FE on service do's and don'ts. Last, he announces the recap of the huddle over the voycal to all other depts. We arent thst busy in the am, so it all works out well. Those customers thst do happen to hear it say that is an outstanding waybto start the day.
