Our store still has clicklist logos all over the place. And one giant clicklist logo embedded into the wall. Wonder when they're gonna remove that.

Who gives a sh!t. Pick up sounds a lot better than clicklist cause you know youre actually picking it up. Another associate who needs to take their head outta their ass
I think Pickup is the better name (it's self-explanatory; clicklist attracted a lot of "what's that?") but why didn't they go with it in the first place instead of spending several years advertising under the old name?
Then again, they probably won't. Just like the seafood department and bakery department don't need logos, or the self checkout and money services, "Kroger Pickup" and "Kroger Ship" don't either.
a couple months ago, at our store, they replaced the blue clicklist shirts with these generic purple shirts that don't say anything on them except some random phrase like "shop online, save more" and stuff like that. I think I saw those at another store as well.
I think it's a desperation measure from some six figure paycheck corporate SOB trying to justify their employment.
"Well, Mr. Smith, how do you intend to increase corporate profits this quarter?"
"Well, I'm going to change the "Clicklist" to "Kroger Pickup" because customers also click on a list for our Instacart service and I don't want them to get confused."
"Fantastic! A Ferrari for everybody! Who wants a Martini?"
It's mainly to be more consistent with the competition that generally use "pickup" or "curbside" in their names for the service. And now that Delivery, Instacart, Shipt, Kroger Ship, etc are part of the ecommerce side of the buisness, it's just less confusing to just call it Pickup. Helps customers better understand all the services we now have.

So in other words, It's Kroger's way of saying they can't come up with an original idea and they have to copy someone else. Kroger's whole business model is based on copying other business's ideas and trying to make them cheaper.
Come to think of it, you're right, the purple shirts don't say Clicklist on them.
Well, now it doesn't matter what the purple shirts say. Our store has now forced all the clicklist associates to wear the same blue smocks/vests/aprons as the rest of the store.
