Our store manager got transferred

They had a small farewell party for him, and everyone said bye during his last hour.

It's funny how the hourly / non management employees never know the real stories behind these moves. Having been on the inside (i.e., former retail salaried manager), I can almost guarantee your guy either is getting punished and sent to a crappy store----or he's being uni-laterally promoted to another store and someone else is being punished by coming to your store. There are exceptions, of course, but this is usually what's happening.

Krogrr is highly secretive for a company that claims "honesty" as a "core value".

Krogrr handles abusive managers much like the Catholic church has sometimes handled abusive priests: hey, let's send him to another store/diocese.

Shameful.

Cincy/Dayton people, what i want to know is why is Tamer Demiyapar going to be the interim store manager at Alex Bell, we're getting a new District 1 Ops Manager, and where did Ms. Matthews go?

Tamer going to be a store manager seems like a step down for him but idk whats going on? It was sent in a sudden email yesterday so yeah there's definitely some secretive stuff going on.

Mr F, i'm assuming your store manager was lumped in that email yesterday with the several people getting moved around.

Yes, a lot of moves going on in Cin/Dayton. It seems every President has to put their "stamp" on the Div. I wonder if they know the powder keg is going to blow sooner then later. With all the recent departures they have placed a "Transfer Freeze" for Mgmt/Division level, preventing any "promotions" or "transfers" to the Corp Office. Walking into any store, the issues are obvious, yet no one is able to address. Store/District level can not say anything with fear of reprisal or being labeled as a person making "excuses". Yes, the Cin/Dayton wage increase got people to apply, but haves anyone noticed the quality of work?

That's how it was for our last SM, he was a great guy but didn't accomplish much. Nobody will miss this current one, he's a dick that won't even let you go to your kids' birth but will take as many vacations as he wants and when he comes back he's always on your case about whatever's bothering him.

He did say that it was out of the blue.
