I just started a job at Kroger last week, and it is my second time working in the company. When I left the first time though, I had direct deposit, and they still handed out paychecks in the store for people that didn't have direct deposit. I set up direct deposit, but since I have to wait a little for it to take effect, I'm going to have a physical one this week, and they (at least in my store) mail the physical paychecks. I've been told by a co-worker who gets them mailed that he still gets them on Thursday. Since it is Thanksgiving Thursday, does anybody know if it will come in the mail Wednesday instead, or if it'll probably end up being Friday instead?
