Maybe that will all change tomorrow, but Sunday, Monday and today have all been slower than usual, it feels like. I've been with Kroger for more than six years now and the store just doesn't seem as busy as it normally is for the week of Thanksgiving. Can't really blame customers... I shop elsewhere for groceries myself because cheaper options than Kroger exist; especially in my area where there isn't any shortage of grocery chains that sell groceries for less.
ClickList has been slow too, though. So slow, in fact, that they've been sending people to other departments to stock because, well, there aren't enough orders being placed. Why even use ClickList and pay $4.95 service fee when Walmart will do it without a service fee and you'll get cheaper groceries?
Our ClickList department is up 52% from this time last year, I believe, and this was before the holiday season. If I heard correctly, however, our in store sales are flat.

Yea, it was kind of slow-ish Monday at my store as well. And we had a bit of a low level of sales for Sunday too, but that is do to a sudden bout of snow and ice and so forth. Which led to a 4 hour power outage. But oh have they definitely picked up speed both yesterday and today. Hell could barely keep pies and King's Hawaiian on the shelves long enough. So can only imagine it's going to be such "fun" tomorrow and even on Thanksgiving.
Wasn't bad today, either. Well... I suppose that's what happens when Kroger decides to pull a Walmart/McDonalds and build stores on every couple street corners.

This week at my click list actually averaged d out to be the same as any other non holiday week
